Wine Corks

Wine corks made in Portugal with the highest quality cork to better preserve the wine inside the bottle. Our corks are sterilized with Hydrogen Peroxide and treated with Paraffin and Silicone to increase its sealing capabilities to prevent contamination and oxidation. Customization is available by ink or fire branding.

Natural Wine Corks

Natural Corks

Natural corks are 100% natural made by punching the selected bark with one single strike, ideally to allow a long lasting aging process while inside the bottle of your best wine during maturity. Due to its high density, high elasticity and high sealing properties Reserve wines will benefit a lot using this type of cork. These corks are available in different lengths and diameters in Dark honey and Light PO2 washes and are categorized in several grades: Flor, Extra, Super, First and Second. The most common sizes are: 38 x 24 mm; 44x24 mm; 45 x 24 mm; 49 x 24 mm; 54 x 24 mm.

Colmated Wine Corks

Colmated Corks

Colmated corks are a cost-effective cork and an alternative to our 100% natural corks for wines that requires a shorter aging period and to be consumed usually within 4 years. These high porosity corks are treated corks subjected to a colmating process utilizing cork dust and food grade glue following a finish surface covering applied in order to homogenize its visual appearance and provide a good closure capability. Available in 2 grades and various sizes: Colmated Grade A (Star) and Colmated Grade B (Luxe). Dimensions: 38 x 24 mm; 44x24 mm; 45 x 24 mm.

Micro Agglomerated Wine Corks

Agglomerated Corks / Micro Corks

Micro-Agglomerated corks are entirely made of low-density micro cork granules obtained by grinding quality cork. They are produced by individual molding, using sterilized granules (0.5 to 2 mm or 0.5 to 1 mm) and with a controlled density and low absorption, they make an excellent sealing closure. Micro corks are an economical alternative for young wines consumed up to 2 years after bottling. Dimensions: 38 x 24 mm; 44x24 mm (other sizes available). Available in 05/1 and in various sizes in Dark honey and Light PO2 washes.

Agglomerated corks are good for wines to be consumed within 3 years. They are made out of granulated cork from the sub-products cork granules ranging in size from 2mm to 5mm, resulting from the production of natural cork stoppers, by an extrusion method. They are an economical solution that ensures a good mechanical behaviour at an affordable price used in inexpensive and fast rotation wines. Dimensions: 38 x 23 mm, 44 x 23 mm. Available in Grade 05/2 and in various sizes in Dark honey and Light PO2 washes.

1+1 Grade A Corks

 

1+1 Cork Stoppers Grade A

The 1+1 cork stoppers are made with a natural cork disk at each end and a body of agglomerated cork. With great sealing properties they are recommended for wines consumed up to 4 years after bottling. Dimensions: 39 x 23.5 mm; 44 x 23.5 mm. Available in Grade 05/1 and in various sizes in Dark honey and Light PO2 washes.

1+1 Premium Cork Stoppers Grade B

The 1+1 Premium cork stoppers are made with a natural cork disk at each end and a micro - agglomerated cork body. They are produced by individual molding, using sterilized granules (0.5 to 2mm) and with density controlled. With great sealing properties they are recommended for wines consumed up to 5 years after bottling. Dimensions: 44 x 24 mm. Available in Grade 05/2 and in various sizes in Dark honey and Light PO2 washes.

Synthetic closures are an alternative to cork products. Made of a single-mold injection to control performance and stability with an excellent elasticity ratio. Available in different grades, diameters and lengths. Recommended for both wines with a short or long period of time in the bottle depending on the grade.
