Simplicity of design creates an overpowering effect in these Graham Howard depictions of wildlife. Each line art design is carefully recreated in exquisite embroidery on Kanata's Canadian made premium quality wool blanket which has been blended with nylon to enrich the coloring and add strength. Two sided brushing adds extra softness. Bordered with double stitched, hand sewn complementary felt edging and then hand trimmed for the ultimate finished look. Color: Forest green-pantone# 5605C, embroidered with a Wolf head design in white and trimmed with complementary black felt. About the artist: Graham Howard is an internationally known Canadian wildlife artist who worked in Japan studying SUMI-E ink brush painting (line art drawing). An environmentalist and admirer of all animals, Graham is able to convey an awareness of the essential nature of his subject in a few brush strokes.
